CDMS Surgery Center began as California Dermatology & Mohs Surgery Specialists — a practice built around a simple idea: patients shouldn't have to wait days between a diagnosis and a plan.
How we started
CDMS was founded as a dedicated Mohs surgery practice, with an on-site lab built so tissue margins could be read the same day a tumor was removed, instead of sent out and waited on. As more patients needed reconstruction after their Mohs procedure, we added plastic surgery under the same roof. Pain management followed for the same reason: fewer buildings, fewer intake forms, fewer weeks spent waiting between specialists.
Today, CDMS Surgery Center is an accredited outpatient facility offering all three specialties from a single location in Pasadena.
